About Evelyn County Estate Winery
Evelyn County Estate is a breathtakingly picturesque 40 acre estate only 35 mins from the CBD, nestled amongst an abundance of greenery at the Gateway to the Yarra Valley.
Several varieties of grapes are grown onsite including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Tempranillo & Cabernet Sauvignon.
The award-winning wines are vivaciously aromatic in flavour, and James Halliday has noted Evelyn County Estate as being amongst the leading Pinot producers across Australia & New Zealand.
The Merlot grape is used to make a spectacular Rose with the skins being left in the juice for only one & a half hours. From the Chardonnay an unique oaked & unoaked wine will be produced next year as well as a sparkling from a surprise variety!
