Ging Chinese Restaurant, is a family owned restaurant that has been a mainstay in Prahran since 1966. After a 2 year absence, Ging returned to the dining scene in 2007, & with it, a dramatic face-lift. Now with its chic and sharp decor, a familiar warmth offered by owners Henry & Soo and its refined elegance, Ging is back with a bang! This Melbourne Institution offers an exquisite setting; elegant yet with a minimalist injection of chinese artwork & decoration, the perfect venue for an intimate dinner. The specialty of the house is the Yum Cha, which is served all day and offers fresh and exciting dishes, cooked precisely to order. Indulge in traditional meals like their fresh 'salt & pepper calamari', or zesty tender strips of 'Szechwan pepper chicken with thin crispy peral leaves'; relish the 'crispy skin chicken' immersed in a rich chilli plum sauce and their 'Shanghai spinach salad with finely diced 5 spice tofu' that bursts with an opulent mix of refreshing flavours;
