About Alfio's Caffe
Alfio's Caffe is in the heart of busy Fairfield and this iconic restaurant has been serving great food for many years in Fairfield and beyond. From casual café style dining during the day, to a more formal dinner service of an evening, the welcoming and friendly atmosphere provided by Antone and Chafic is continous. Always busy, there is a constant buzz and alluring atmosphere at Alfio's.
Drop in for a hearty breakfast and select from a diverse menu boasting selections like their fresh fruit salad or the ‘Breakfast With The Lot' which is an absolute must try offering eggs, hash browns, baked beans, tomato, mushroom, bacon, spinach and sausage. Their breakfast menu is available all day till 4pm!!
For Lunch you can choose from a fantastic menu including fresh pasta specials, or mouth-watering 'Chicken Focaccia' for only $13.50 and the 'Lemon Pepper Squid Salad' is sensational. In the evening Alfio's exudes a more formal atmosphere, with linen napkins, candles, soft lighting and music, creating an intimate ambience.
The main menu is extensive and boasts many fresh and diverse modern Australian dishes. For an entrée we suggest the sumptuous steamed 'Tasmanian mussels and clams'. For a main course there are plenty of options, but the succulent 'Rib Eye' or the tender 'New Season Rack of Lamb' for $26.50 is a must. Other main courses vary from ‘Home Made Gnocchi' to ‘Roasted Oven Duck' to tantalise your taste buds.
Alfio's also has a great 'Kid's Menu' offering a family friendly environment. The wine list is varied and great value and nearly all wines are available by the glass.
