About The Corkman Irish Pub

Why not experience the alluring & bustling vibe of The Corkman, for yourself? Call in for some genuine Irish hospitality; great food and drinks, the Craic, and not a poker machine in sight!

Be greeted by the charm of the entire Corkman Irish Pub team who pride themselves on friendly service and quality, and who share interests from music to football to lots of country fun; depending on where you are from of course! Jovial, merry and always hospitable; there's always a warm welcome for everyone!

The Corkman is proudly owned by Kieran O'Connell and Chris Fitzgerald and have a 25 year history of playing music together. Both have played in reputable bands over the years such as Shanakee and Highland Paddy, and bring a unique facet to this venue, as the boys can still be heard playing at the Corkman on 'special occasions' (e.g. St Patricks Day) and every first Sunday of the month from 2.30pm to 6.00pm.

The Head Chef at The Corkman is Craig (Cookie) Stewart "Must be some Scottish bloodline there somewhere". Cookie brings 11 years experience in all facets of cooking. He is very creative and constantly surprises us with new and exciting dishes. Cookie is aided by the Boy Wonder Paul Vautier (Must be French!). Paul also from "New Zuland" has worked with Cookie for 18 months in a well known Melbourne cafe.

The Corkman's high quality food is very reasonably priced, excellent value and generous portions are provided. The restaurant has a warm and unique atmosphere and seats approx 70 people.
