This relaxed bar/restaurant simply provides happy, friendly staff offering a quality, well priced menu. Stuzzichino means 'to have & enjoy a vast range of appetizers' which sums-up the restaurant perfectly!
Stuzzichino's is a rarity in Lygon Street Carlton, with no spruikers,a happy and friendly staff and a menu that is unique in Carlton. Importantly the food is fresh, Angelo is a well-known figure at the markets on his regular visits to buy fresh produce.
Spuntini "lots of small dishes" is available continuously and they do provide generous serves with these dishes. You can start with 3 dishes for $9.50, 4 for $11.50 and so on.
For lunch the Piadina is a must! Angelo makes his own yeast free flat bread on the premises and fills them with a range of gourmet ingredients. Starting from $9.00 these are great value.
The Main menu is also extensive, and of excellent quality. Angelo has been cooking for some 20 years, having learnt a large part of his craft in Sicily, creating an authentic, home-style cuisine Stuzzichino's is famous for.
Stuzzichino boasts a diverse array of main menu options worth trying including the tender and flavoursome Lamb Shanks at $22.50 or the mouth-watering Chicken Marinara for $26.50 and unbelievably a 300 gram sumptuous Grain Fed Rib Eye for only $28.50!
Stuzzichino's wine and beer list is extensive featuring both Australian and Italian wines and beers. They have a Happy Hour daily from 4 till 7 where you can get selected wines and spirits for $4.00 per glass. Stuzzichino is a sensational bar/restaurant that is absolutely worth a visit for lunch, afternoon snacks or dinner.
