About Baranows Lounge
Baranows is an elegant sophisticated lounge utilizing the high ceilings of an old bank, using quality leather lounges and fittings to create an oasis in Hawthorn. It is a place to relax and enjoy anything from a morning coffee to an exotic cocktail in the evening.
One of the great features of Baranows is their amazing range of drinks. The whisky list comprises some 150 options. Indulge in a 40 year old Glenfidich, a 30 year old Laphroig, or one of your regulars such as Chivas Regal. Some of their whiskies are not found elsewhere.
Baranows are also known for their cocktail list, and have an amazing list. They have many of the popular cocktails, but with an added twist. Try for example a Mosito with cinnamon or Cosmo with ginger, flamedorange and starinise.
Another string to their bow is an extensive wine list, some 200 wines, with many by the glass. Their range covers some of Australia's leading winemakers.
The happy hour is very popular and you can enjoy $5 red, white and sparkling wines $10 cocktails, and Boags bottles for $5. Happy hour runs on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5pm to 7pm and Saturday 10am to 7pm. Also available are cheese platters and dips.
