About Hanging Rock Winery
Hanging Rock Winery is located in the Macedon Ranges Wine Region, just one hour drive north-west from Melbourne. Established in 1983 by John and Ann Ellis, the winery sits on The Jim Jim, an ancient volcanic hill close to the famous Hanging Rock tourist landmark. In the winter the winery endures the coolest grape growing conditions in mainland Australia. Cellar Door offers sensational views and is open every day from 10am to 5pm (except Christmas Day & Good Friday)
