Madagalli on Bank is housed in a charming historic building built in 1889. Owners Tony and Fiona Gall deliver a sumptuous eclectic menu, mingling fresh, aromatic flavours with all the zest of traditional Italian cooking.
Hailed as Port Fairy's gourmet pizza and pasta house, Madagalli offers array of succulent seafood variations, traditional meat sauces and fresh salads. Dine inside in the relaxing ambience, subdued lighting and Mediterranean décor, or unwind with a glass of wine in the courtyard.
The building was constucted in 1889 for auctioneers, Freckleton and McCallum. Tony and Fiona opened the doors of this locally famed business in 2001 and quickly acquired a reputation for excellence.
These two certainly know how to tantalise and captivate their customers, combining family friendly service with mouth-watering selections to lure you back again & again.
The pasta and pizza creations use only the freshest produce, infusing zesty flavours with seafood or traditional meat sauces including the renowned 'Skipper Kate'; roast pumpkin, pine nuts, baby spinach and garlic lightly tossed in olive oil and sprinkled with crumbled feta cheese, all rounded off with a range of fresh salads. The pizza topping that steals the show is the marinated tiger prawns on a tomato and cheese base, topped with a rocket salad with dressing.
Madagalli's holds a superior reputation for freshness and all dough is made from scratch on the premises.
