Owners Charles & Merrilyn Lear have turned The Apollo Bay Hotel into a very popular establishment, bringing their passion and wealth of industry experience, which is reflected in their ability to provide superb service and by their strong loyal following of locals and tourists alike, who flock to 'The Apollo'.
The Apollo Bay Hotel was built in 1880 however it was refurbished recently and now offers a range of areas to dine. Whether you are sitting in the main bar, at the bistro or outside in the fantastic beer garden, you can relax while enjoying the alluring coastal views and the magnificence of the Otway Ranges; offering heaters outside to warm you in winter, so you can unwind in comfort. The vibrant atmosphere of this popular establishment truly unfolds with the sensational live entertainment & music provided over the weekend.
Chef Damien Clemmens, cooks only with fresh local produce and has matched the menu with a great choice of wines offering an extensive array of 10 whites and 14 reds, by the glass. The bistro is air conditioned / heated and is renowned for its wide variety of sumptuous and flavoursome menu options including tenders steaks, chicken and local seafood dishes.
The fabulous new bistro/function room is available for private functions, conferences & weddings. This stylish area offers the ability to use both inside and outside areas and boasts magnificent views from the front terrace.
