The Commercial Hotel is fondly known to the locals as "The Middle" and as the name suggests, the hotel is conveniently located in centre of the quaint town of Heathcote. Founded in 1864 in the gold rush era, The Commercial boasts all the warmth of a cosy country pub; reflecting the charm and graciousness of a bygone era. Set on the tree-lined High Street, at the foothills of Mt Ida, you will find The Commercial. Approx 109 km north of Melbourne via the Northern Highway, surrounded by picturesque bush land, Heathcote provides the ideal country escape.

Mary is the new owner, who is working hard at creating a new direction for "The Middle" with customer satisfaction and service the absolute priority.
