Thai Surprise is located in central Scarborough and has been drawing patrons from near and far, for obvious reasons.
Owners David Nation and Liang Sewell (who is also the chef) have stuck to the script that all restaurateurs should adhere to; consistently freshly cooked cuisine using the finest quality ingredients, with no additives or MSG added, producing healthy & tasty food; Thai cuisine doesn't get much better than this!

Liang is the force within the kitchen and produces dishes with flavours a cut above, as a result of the impeccable freshness of ingredients used. Liang's flavours and textures speak for themselves producing dishes like the ‘Sizzling'; your choice of meat, stir fried with coconut milk with Thai sweet chilli paste fresh chilli, onion, capsicum, bamboo shoots, beans, basil leaves, shallots & Thai herb seasoning served on a sizzling hot plate!
