About Gino's Restaurant

Gino's Restaurant is a quaint establishment in Hamilton & has become somewhat of an institution within the Brisbane area, owned by the Barakat family since 1980. It has proven popular with families offering a vibrant, bubbly atmosphere, friendly staff and open plan kitchen provide an intimate backdrop for a lovely Italian evening. Gino's menu is now a tradition, with the recommended specialty being Livornese cooked in a Napolitana Sauce with white wine, chilli, garlic and parsnip.

Gino's has been in the Barakat family since 1980. Sayed and Deborah paved the way with a recipe for success which son and daughter duo Simon and Dominique couldn't resist, and have been running the local business since 1998.

Edward is the head chef and has been working at Gino's with his uncle and cousins for 25 years. Edward is in charge of the kitchen and the food it produces, and consistently serves one of the best meals in Brisbane.

Gino's restaurant is an institution with customers not only travelling locally but from all over Brisbane to enjoy the vibrancy of a traditional Italian diner and relish in the warm, friendly ambience this establishment exudes. From the mid week couples to the weekend diners and racegoers to the families on Sunday nights.
