When to Visit New England North West

Whatever the season you'll find something to delight you in the New England North West however the best times to visit are during the spring and autumn months when the temperatures are moderate and the colours magnificent. Summers are typically hot and dry with temperatures in the mid 30s, while in winter the nights are cold with daytime temperatures around 15 degrees.

Getting Around New England North West

Tamworth, Armidale and Glen Innes are all small regional airports that service the New England North West. Approximately 400km from Sydney and 600km from Brisbane, the New England Hwy runs right through the region. Transport within the major towns is excellent with bus and taxi services, however the best way to get around outside of these centers is with your own vehicle. Signage is usually pretty good.
